Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not do with MoonBase.
Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs what you may and may not do with MoonBase. It applies to all users regardless of plan. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice or refund.
You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for all content you upload, host, or serve through MoonBase.
Prohibited content
You may not upload, host, or distribute Projects or content that:
Illegal content
Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation, or facilitates illegal activity.
Harmful and malicious content
Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code; is designed to attack, exploit, or damage systems or networks; or is intended to phish for credentials or personal information.
Child safety — zero tolerance
Depicts, promotes, or facilitates the sexual exploitation of minors, or targets or is designed to harm children in any way. Any account found hosting such content will be immediately terminated and reported to relevant law enforcement authorities without prior notice.
Harassment and hate
Harasses, threatens, stalks, or intimidates individuals; promotes violence against specific individuals or groups; or constitutes hate speech targeting protected characteristics including race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Intellectual property infringement
Infringes any third party’s copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights, or circumvents digital rights management systems.
Deceptive content
Contains fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content; impersonates any person or organization; or constitutes phishing or social engineering.
Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service to:
Attack infrastructure
Launch denial-of-service attacks against any target; conduct port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing against systems you do not own or have explicit written permission to test; or exploit vulnerabilities in any system.
Unauthorized access
Gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or data, or access accounts that do not belong to you.
Abuse resources
Mine cryptocurrency; generate artificial traffic; use the Service as a proxy or relay to obscure traffic origin; or operate open mail relays or send bulk unsolicited email.
Circumvent restrictions
Circumvent rate limits or usage quotas; create multiple accounts to bypass plan limits; or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the MoonBase platform.
Your responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of MoonBase and all content you host through MoonBase complies with this AUP, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws. We do not pre-screen content uploaded to MoonBase. Our enforcement is reactive — we act when violations are reported or detected.

We investigate all reports. We will not reveal your identity to the account under investigation.
Enforcement
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal activity to law enforcement, with or without prior notice depending on severity. No refunds are issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations.
